Just got back from the True Colors Concert. Ok..we had awesome 3rd row seats. Cindy Lauper was GREEAT! She sounded, looked and acted the same as she did when she was young. She got right up into the crowd too. Erasure’s lead singer had a pot belly and looked like a crazy drunk old man but the group sounded exactly the same. I’m really mad at Deborah Harry because all she sang was her new old lady music and didn’t perform ONE FRIGGIN BLONDIE song!! Booooo!!!!!! What the fuck was she thinking? She was playing for a stadium full of fags!! They wanted to hear some “Call Me”! I can’t believe she is like 62. She so looks like My grandma in the face and kinda dances like she used to at her senior citizen events. Dresden Dolls.don’t know who the hell they are, so we went and got a beer. Now what reaallly got us mad is that we left our camera at home because we were afraid they would confiscate our cameras or something and then saw that EVERYONE brought their digital. So all I got was a few crappy ass camphone pics while other people in our row were taking these super awesome portraits because we were so damned close. Margaret Cho was hilarious. I can’t believe how much weight she lost. Didn’t she used to be kinda fat? I didn’t like her much when she first saw her years ago but she was REALLY funny last night.
